Centro de Educación de Personas Adultas "Francisco Largo Caballero", Spain
The adult school "Francisco Largo Caballero" is a state-run school for students over 18 years of age. It is located in a big town and copes with people from different backgrounds, many of them at risk of social exclusion since they are adults who did not get the GCSE qualifications they need in order to get a job and, therefore, they are unemployed. Others are students who could not finish their studies in other institutions since they have special education needs. We also have immigrants, retired people, housewives, etc. Our courses range from literacy to secondary education, English and French as a Second Language courses, basic ITC, health courses and Mentor (e-learning) courses. A great number of students live in the surrounding villages and are enrolled in the Distance Learning mode, and sometimes encounter difficulties to attend lessons.
 

St. John's Central College, Cork, Ireland
St.Johns Central College of Further Education and Training is one of the main providers of Vocational training at Further Education Level in Cork city and county. We offer over twenty-six fulltime daytime courses of one or two year duration. The college has over 1,200 students and courses are offered at national certificate level (FETAC level 5 and 6). We place a strong emphasis on the vocational training of students. Access to our courses is open to all adults regardless of previous educational experience and over 46% of our students are more than 23 years of age. A significant percentage of our students can be formally classified as disadvantaged, this includes social and economic disadvantage as well as educational disadvantage. Many students are early school leavers while a high percentage have become unemployed and are returning to education with the aim of re-skilling for future employment. St. John’s Central College maintains close links with employers and has a high degree of expertise in developing courses to meet the demands of a changing workplace.

The Industrial School of Marcinelle- Monceau is a community school for adult education in the suburbs of Charleroi. Students must be more over 18. "Family training "is our school project. Young parents-students can benefit the nursery. All students get individual pedagogical support. We offer them quality training courses meeting the demands of the job market and personal blooming. We provide courses in the field of secondary Education and citizenship. We also focus on pedagogical support ( guidance) 
 

Prosecco Ltd., Tartu, Estonia
Prosecco Ltd. was established in 2007. The general context of this organization is working with adult learners, especially with trainings developing soft skills. We’ve been participating in projects of training people, who have lost their job and organizing different trainings and moderating them. Our trainings are aimed to help a person to be more easily adapted to a new situation, new working environment, also strengthening team-spirit. We are also organizing and moderating charity events in cooperation with orphanages (and the personal) and the Children's Fund of University Clinic, but our general target group is adult people. One silent partner will be involved: Institute of Psychology of University of Tartu who deals also with adult training. It has very professional academic trainers , who can benefit the project as trainers as well as experts on different surveys.

 
Länsirannikon Koulutus Oy Winnova, Finland
Winnova is a result of a merging process of four vocational institutes. It is a regional provider of vocational education for young people and adults in South-Western Finland. In this project Winnova will bring its expertise of the subject to the partnership. It will organize the workshops in Finland and it will participate in implementation and dissemination activities as well project management as described in the work plan. Winnova offers vocational training in basic, vocational and special qualifications for adult learners in several fields (metal technology, construction, electronics, nursing, catering, business management, security etc). Its main customers are unemployed people (qualifications) and SME’s (consulting and personnel training). In this partnership Winnova will focus on those unemployed trainees, who have special learning / social problems and are in risk of marginalisation. Winnova will bring its expertise on guidance services to the partnership.

 
Volkshochschule für den Landkreis Regen, Germany
Volkshochschule für den Landkreis Regen (Vhs) is a community center of adult education. Vhs provides courses for the general public in the fields of culture,vocational training,languages and health. The institution provides a wide range of offers for disadvantaged people to help them to stay or to reintegrate them to the society. Target groups are migrants, people coming from the regular school without certification,older people and jobless people. Especially trainings in the field of intercultural competences is one of the most important topics. Vhs offers also courses for immigrants and other social handicapped people

 
Budapesti Kommunikációs és Üzleti Főiskola, Budapest, Hungary
Budapest College of Communication and Business is one of the largest instutitions in Hungary, which deal with adult education and trainings. As higher education institution, we have more than 6.000 active students, and about 1.000 student in adult education yearly. Our courses deal with communication, marketing, business skills and tourism.

The parent-teacher association of Kusadasi Hasan Fatma Onal Anatolian High School is an association dealing with the needs of the students in our region. The association involves 25 teachers and 12 parents and we are working especially for the disadvantaged learners and try to solve their problems. We have learners from different social groups and some of them are subject to social exclusion because of several disadvantages. We are trying to cooperate with the parents and other associations in our region to provide equal opportunity for all the learners and support development of our disadvantaged learners.
